In Spidersilk the novel, the character of Ramses tends to be a bit mysterious. He is a very complex character who knows how to get things done. In one particular scene Ramses is shown interrogating a suspect for information about the thievery. Ramses uses his keen senses to track down those who are causing his allies harm, which really shows how powerful he is. Ramses has a keen ability to use environmental energies to his advantage. Perhaps, this is why he first notices the difference in Mark's yard.

In the novel Spidersilk, the police are able to locate Isis thanks to some major help from falcons. These beautiful creatures have been known as messengers throughout history thanks to their speed and incredibly wisdom. There are many cultures that utilize the falcon in this method, including the Egyptians who portrayed gods with falcon heads. Another common source in the Native Americans who feature the falcon as a totem animal meant to bring news and messages that will guide people through life.
