“The objective was to
ensure the maximum effectiveness of the sensors and capabilities in as many
situations as possible. Initial sensor was obvious; make room and place one
inside the vehicle’s drill. This way, it could take measurements of the area of
the drill target. Often, the objective was to see, hear, touch, or otherwise
detect things that were difficult to see.”_Spidersilke the novel

Spidersilk the novel fans know the main character, Mark, was a wizard when it came to creating realistic videogames that were able to put players into a new world. It is has been an uphill journey in our own world when it comes to videogames. Decades ago, we merely had pixels to enjoy as we adventured. Recently though, it was announced that game characters would be more realistic than ever. This is thanks to a technology called Siren. This technology not only creates incredibly realistic characters but shaves off the time that designers spend creating animations and more.

Wormholes play a big role in the world(s) presented in Spidersilk
the novel, but we’re just speculating about them in our own world. Although the
idea of time travel, or even dimension travel, have been thrown around for some
time now, a few theories state wormhole travel is far too dangerous for humans.
More recently, a scientist did confirm that travel through a worm hole is
possible, but if a person were to try there would be a massive explosion that would
leave no trace of the person. However, he does believe there is a way to beat
this issue. However, it is not possible with our current technology. This is
only one theory though, there are many out there!

For decades, surgeons have been using silicone implants to
help patients feel more confident about their bodies. However, many people
actually end up having complications with these implants because the body does
not always accept it entirely. Now, scientists are using spider silk to help
make the the implants easier for the body to handle. This amazing discovery
will help countless breast cancer survivors regain their body and their
confidence. Just like in Spidersilk the novel, this substance is able to offer
protection in more ways than one.

“Admiring an abstract
wall art piece Mark recently installed, Mairis showed genuine interest, clearly
smothering the canvas’s details. Mark moved close and, in a low tone, said,
“You like it? It seems to sort of extend from the wall into a possible other
realm somewhere in its depths, doesn’t it?”_Spidersilk the novel
