In the novel Spidersilk, spiders
utilize their spidersilk to help protect the main character.
Spidersilk isn't a fictional element though. In fact, presently
Spidersilk is being used to create a strong fiber that will soon be
implanted into the human body. This amazing substance works like a
muscle but is a whole lot stronger. Keep your eye out because you
might be hearing a lot more about this substance in the future. To

Spidersilk the novel is rich in
cultural references. During one of Mark's dreams he meets with a
Native American who helps him unlock some keys that lead to his
success. This reference alone already hints at Mark's powers as it is
said to see a Native American tends to mean you are breaking free of
something. There are so many incredible stories surrounding Native

It seems like there's always a skeptic
when it comes to life and stories. In Spidersilk the novel Mark often
finds himself explaining things to Tink, like his videogame design
choices. All the questioning becomes slightly curious, especially
since Tink moves on to the same company as Mark later in the book.
While Mark enters his new job on the look out, Tink seems to
assimilate nicely, almost as if the newcomers are swaying him to
their side.
