It seems like there's always a skeptic when it comes to life and stories. In Spidersilk the novel Mark often finds himself explaining things to Tink, like his videogame design choices. All the questioning becomes slightly curious, especially since Tink moves on to the same company as Mark later in the book. While Mark enters his new job on the look out, Tink seems to assimilate nicely, almost as if the newcomers are swaying him to their side.
