Wormholes have played a major part in many sci fi books and movies. In the novel Spidersilk, the foes of Mark, the main character, actually end up in Mark's world when they stumbled into a worm hole. Although many people tend to believe worm holes to be a work of fiction they are actually real things. In fact, a recent study has even stated that wormholes might be able to help us time travel as well as reach other dimensions. This not only makes the story of Spidersilk even more real, but it offers a more compelling future in the line of time travel.
