“John quickly tapped
his tablet a few times after a few moments he announced, “I have located a
signal.” The officer’s jaw dropped, “How did you do that? We have been scanning
for hours.” John casually explained, “Some tablets have an anti-theft device.
When the tablet is turned off they give off a really weak short range signal on
a specific frequency. The signals are powered by an internal battery and are
intended to last a very long time. The purpose is for times like this, so the
tablet can be located.”_Spidersilk the novel

Spidersilk the novel uses the multiverse to help weave an
exciting story that keeps readers engaged and curious about the universe. In
our own world, the multiverse is a hot topic within the science community.
Although there is no solid evidence, many speculate that we are, in fact,
living in a multiverse. More recently, Stephen Hawking published a paper, just
ten days prior to his death, that discussed his thoughts on the multiverse in
more detail. Time will tell where scientists choose to go with his paper, but
for now we can all enjoy learning more about his amazing mind and a theory that
could help bring us a few answers if pursued.

As we learned from Spidersilk the novel, spider silk can
save lives and offers remarkable amounts of protection. We’ve recently
discovered that spider silk can be grown in many ways. Although may scientist
have figured how to make synthetic spider silk, there are still some programs where
spider silk is grown. In one case, where spider silk is grown on tobacco
leaves, scientist believe they may have found a cure for Ebola. This discovery
could save millions of lives.

“The objective was to
ensure the maximum effectiveness of the sensors and capabilities in as many
situations as possible. Initial sensor was obvious; make room and place one
inside the vehicle’s drill. This way, it could take measurements of the area of
the drill target. Often, the objective was to see, hear, touch, or otherwise
detect things that were difficult to see.”_Spidersilke the novel

Spidersilk the novel fans know the main character, Mark, was a wizard when it came to creating realistic videogames that were able to put players into a new world. It is has been an uphill journey in our own world when it comes to videogames. Decades ago, we merely had pixels to enjoy as we adventured. Recently though, it was announced that game characters would be more realistic than ever. This is thanks to a technology called Siren. This technology not only creates incredibly realistic characters but shaves off the time that designers spend creating animations and more.

Spidersilk the novel features many characters that use
technology to overcome their disabilities. For instance, many of the intruders
were deaf, but their special equipment ensured they were able to function in
their dimension, as well as they one they intruded upon. In our own world,
scientists are working hard to make disabilities less invasive on a person’s
life. In fact, more recently, it was announced that a special eye drop may be
able to correct your eye sight in not time. This amazing tool would change the
world as we know it.
