Spidersilk the novel has a great story that involves a Robin Hood mind set. Some of the foes in the story are keen on robbing from the main character, Mark, and his friends in order to redistribute the wealth in their own dimension. Like most Robin Hood stories there is a lack of integrity in the distribution. In fact, typically the Robin Hood character tends to benefit more from what is stolen than the poor that are meant to receive the funds. This is certainly the case in one of today's modern Robin Hood stories. In fact, less than a year ago a man was sentenced to a very short prison sentence for robbing over $100,000 from an American bank. Although he claimed the money was meant for charity, only a small amount of it could be found and much of this was being prepped to be sent to family members rather than the needy.
