In Spidersilk the novel, the main character Mark is a video game a designer. Much like our own dimension, videogames played a big role in the culture for Mark and his friends. The similarities here are fun to admire, as is looking to the future of videogames. Of course, it’s always nice to take a step back and remember the past. Recently, Gamasutra brought up the memory of one of the first video game tournaments for Spacewar, way back in 1972.
