With all of the news from NASA about a new solar system
discovery, it’s equally exciting to find out that spider silk from the recluse
spider may be the material used to create space clothing as well as other
equipment needed to make traveling to distant planets possible. Although the
recluse is known for its dangerous bite, its new reputation may be for the way
it is going to change the way humans live. Because the recluse shows scientists
just how its spinner works, unlike many other spiders, they are now able to
recreate this action for bulk production.
