Mark, the main character in Spidersilk the novel, often travels by hyperspace. When you read the book, you might picture the classic way that hyperspace travel has always looked. However, this imagining of hyperspace travel is incredibly inaccurate. Scientists recently did some math and now know that hyperspace travel could be entirely dark or a blue or purple glow due to the speed at which you would pass light.
