Spinal cord injuries can be one of the hardest to repair
with modern science. Thanks to the strength and flexibility of spider silk, we
may soon enter the hospital with a spinal injury and leave shortly after with a
fully healed spine. This is almost miraculous, considering many spinal injuries
lead to paralysis today. Perhaps, medical professionals will even be able to
